Joe shares his journey into the field of orthotics and prosthetics.  At just 12 years old he was involved in motocross accident that ended up taking his leg below the knee.  He has seen the good, bad, and ugly of prosthetic care and its evolution.  He became a clinician and now has developed  a socket system call the Quattro that is changing people's lives around the world.

He now is using additive manufacturing to realize the dream of his to create the sockets at scale.  There is something in this episode for everyone from engineers to clinicians and business owners.
